𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: During the RedSilient Caravan, the Philippine Red Cross - Negros Occidental distributed Mama Kits enclosed in water pails and water basins, each containing essential hygiene and emergency items, including menstrual pads, rolls of tissue paper, toothpaste, rubbing alcohol, shampoo, and cotton swabs.
These kits also included underwear, a flashlight, placemats, a nail cutter, slippers, a bath towel, and chamber pots, and were distributed in the program organized by Philippine Red Cross' Bacolod City Chapter and Kabankalan Branch, in partnership with Central Philippines State University.
By providing these gender-sensitive items—distributed especially to women, and particularly mothers in the community—the initiative aims to improve sanitary practices and promote self-care among beneficiaries.
The distribution was part of the CPSU-Philippine Red Cross joint “Resilient Together: Disaster Preparedness, Tree Planting, and CPR Training,” training-workshop, held last July 24, 2026, in celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month.
