CPSU Baccalaureate Mass 2021: A celebration of gratitude and thanksgiving for graduands in the new normal



Class 2021 graduates of Central Philippines State University accross campuses celebrated their successful academic accomplishment through a Baccalaureate Mass held last March 9, 2022 at the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Kabankalan City.

  

Amid the pandemic, the holy ceremony was conducted as an auspice of thanksgiving and a celebration of joy to honor the laudable achievement of the graduates and their families.

The Mass was celebrated by Most Reverend Bishop Louie Galbines, and co-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Romeo Tayco, Rev. Fr. Richard Lachica, Rev. Fr. Jose Severino Nacional III and Rev. Fr. Ritchie Villaflor.

This culmination event is a customary activity held by the University for all its graduands both in the undergraduate and graduate school (GS) programs. The formal graduation rites is set on March 31, 2022.

The successful realization of the activity is credited to the overall organizers, Dr. Pilipinas Ma. Jareno, dean of the Office of Student Services and Affairs, and Dr. Riza Stephanie Alfaras, dean of the Graduate School, assisted by Maam Loraine Benjamin, multi-faith services coordinator.
