Eight review centers joined the first-ever Central Philippines State University Review Caravan, showcasing their respective licensure preparation services among the Main Campus fourth years students.
St. Louis Review Center, Professional Career Center of Excellence, Carl Balita Review Center, WILCAP Review and Training Center, Power One Motivation Review Center, Quest Review Center, and AMICI Review Center constituted the caravan roster, Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, Criminologists Licensure Examination, UPstep Review Center, and Agriculturist Licensure Examination review services.
CPSU’s Review for Licensure Examinations Office (RLE), headed by RLE Director, Dr. Marjon C. Malacapay, organized the groundbreaking event which primarily helped Cenphilians choose review centers which best suit their learning styles and best meet their board preparations needs.
CPSU President, Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, conveyed his sincere appreciation to the RLE team and Dr. Malacapay, for spearheading the initiative which significantly aids fourth-year students in selecting the most optimal review center of their choice, in preparation for their licensure examinations; likewise he expressed his gratitude to the participating review centers for their presence and support in equipping aspiring professionals to perform their best.
The review caravan commenced with an opening program at the Accreditation Building on May 8, 2025, initially introducing visiting review centers and the programs they cater.
Dr. Malacapay exclaimed, “The purpose of the Review Caravan is to assist our fourth-year students in selecting the review center that best align with their needs and preferences. This initiative also benefits the institution by identifying subject areas where students tend to struggle, thereby enabling our faculty to enhance their instructional approaches and strengthen academic support.”
The sessions conducted by the review centers provided students with fresh insights of review strategies, each center’s competitive advantages, available packages and benefits, test formats, review tools, and effective time management techniques for the actual board examinations; students were given opportunity to engage with the review center representatives to ask questions and seek clarification on their concerns.
Sessions transpired at the Mt. Ballo Hall for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students, at the College of Criminal Justice Education Function Hall for Bachelor of Science in Criminology students, and at the College of Teacher Education building for Bachelor of Secondary, Elementary, Early Childhood, and Physical Education program students.
The Virtual Review Caravan followed on May 9, 2025, open to all interested university graduates and extension campus students via video teleconferencing platform.
The Review Caravan’s organization and realization underscores CPSU’s commitment to academic excellence and student success—equipping future board examinees with the resources, guidance, and confidence needed to excel in their licensure examinations.
