The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) held the two-day Campus Peace Symposium for Central Philippines State University (CPSU) student leaders last September 25-26, 2024.

120 student leaders from the Supreme Students Government (SSG), the Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), and other recognized CPSU student organizations attended the event.

In coordination with the University’s Extension and Community Services headed by Dr. Jimmy O. Degillo, the event held at CPSU Main Campus’ Research Development and Extension Center (RDEC) Conference Room concluded the Kapeacetahan Peace Fair 2024.

The topics discussed on the 25th were very youth-relevant and timely, namely: the Anti-illegal Drugs campaign, Anti-Bullying Awareness, Responsible Adolescence and Teenage Pregnancy, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and Programs and Services of TESDA.

On the 26th, topics highlighting peace and other government efforts were discussed: Seven (7) Stages of New People's Army (NPA) Recruitment and Anti-insurgency Awareness, Executive Order No. 70, Government's Peace Process, and Programs and Services of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
