CAF Day and CAF Night 2026: A historic first for CAF, CPSU

Feb 09, 2026 | News

Central Philippines State University’s (CPSU) College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) successfully staged the CAF Day and CAF Night Celebration 2026, an event recognized as the first of its kind in the history of CAF.

Guided by the theme "CAFtivate: Where Every Seed of Kindness Grows a Bountiful Harvest," the celebration was more than a festive gathering but a meaningful expression of CAF identity, unity, and service—creating a shared space where students, faculty, and staff could come together to affirm what the college stands for discipline, collaboration, and a community spirit that grows stronger when everyone contributes.

This milestone was made possible through the dedicated leadership of the College of Agriculture and Forestry Federated Organization (CAFFO), spearheaded by CAFFO Governor Emerjhon C. Cordero, and through the steadfast guidance of the organization's adviser, Mrs. Ellen Grace T. Soberano, RAgr, LPT, whose commitment ensured that planning, coordination, and execution were carried out with purpose and excellence.

The CAFFO leadership, under Governor Cordero, demonstrated strong student governance by mobilizing organizations, aligning goals, and sustaining participation throughout the day and night activities, which helped transform a long-held aspiration into an event that the entire college could proudly claim as its own.

The program segments were designed to promote inclusivity and teamwork, ensuring that student organizations and participants were not only involved but also truly represented.

Ultimately, the first CAF Day and CAF Night became a landmark achievement that set a new tradition for the college and proved that when student initiative is matched with committed mentorship, the result is not only a successful event but a lasting institutional memory.
