Cenphilian exemplars were awarded cash incentives by Central Philippines State University’s (CPSU) Review for Licensure Examinations Office (RLEO) in recognition of their commendable performance in the recent 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination.
Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness graduates and Candoni natives Mr. Diosdado Evangelista, 72, a proud farmer, and Mr. Ismael Gadudo, 55, a lumberyard worker, were honored before their fellow Cenphilians during the campus’ Fourth Monthly Convocation.
Mr. Evangelista and Mr. Gadudo received PHP 70,000.00 and PHP 30,000.00, respectively, as acknowledgment of their milestones in obtaining their Professional Regulation Commission-issued licenses as agriculturists—serving as an inspiration not only to their fellow Cenphilians but also to students pursuing their own academic goals despite personal challenges.
CPSU President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, Municipal Mayor of Candoni Hon. Engr. Ray R. Ruiz, CPSU Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Grenny I. Jungco, CPSU RLEO Director Dr. Marjon C. Malacapay, and Candoni Campus Administrator Dr. Juno E. Pajarillo personally conferred the incentives to the awardees.
The success stories of Mr. Evangelista and Mr. Gadudo, despite their age and financial limitations, challenge the community to uphold resilience in the face of adversity, and their journeys highlight the importance of accessible higher education in empowering Filipinos.
CPSU, through its RLEO and its cash incentives program, conveys its appreciation to exemplary alumni whose outstanding licensure examination performances not only strengthen the university’s standing but also pave paths of inspiration for future generations.
The monthly convocation was held on January 30, 2026, at the Municipal Covered Court with the theme “A Journey of Learning, Personal Growth, and Cultural Discovery.”
