Clad in fancy dresses and crisp suits, the Cenphilians from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) strutted down the red carpet at the recent CAF Night.
Featuring the theme “CAFtivate – Where Every Seed of Kindness Grows a Bountiful Harvest,” the acquaintanceship soiree welcomed faculty, staff, and students across the college’s programs.
Mr. Patrick C. Sta. Romana, Chief of the Planning and Monitoring Division of the Department of Agriculture–Negros Island Region, joined the event as the guest speaker and delivered an inspiring message to the community.
The CAF community convened to recognize student societies under the college, celebrate unity, and strengthen solidarity among students across its programs.
The Agribusiness Society, Junior Philippine Sugar Technologists, Society of Agriculture Students, College of Agriculture and Forestry Federated Organization, and Student Society for Environmental Awareness and Protection received certificates of recognition for their active service in shaping the common formation of CAF students.
Apart from CAF Night, the community also celebrated CAF Day, highlighted by the inspirational message of City Agriculturist Mr. Ricky Muscosa from Kabankalan’s City Agriculture Office.
Team-building games such as Sack Race, Pass the Flour with a Twist, Longest Line, and Battle of the Brain were enthusiastically joined by Cenphilians, followed by a landscaping contest.
The activities, held on January 29, 2026, were organized by the CAF faculty and staff under the leadership of College Dean Dr. Hanzel L. Pedrosa.
