Three Bread Variations Bread Making Training conducted by CPSU-CHM

Jun 10, 2026 | News

“From Pandesal to More: A Skills Training on Bread Making with Three (3) Bread Variations,” two-day two-day livelihood training program conducted by Central Philippines State University’s (CPSU) College of Hospitality Management (CHM).

Throughout the two-day event, participants were taught the technical aspects of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques for three distinct bread variations, allowing them to gain confidence in professional-grade bread production.

The initiative underscored the university’s mandate to bridge the gap between academic expertise and community needs, fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the beneficiaries.

Facilitated by the college, the training aimed to provide participants with practical culinary skills that can serve as a foundation for small-scale business ventures or home-based livelihood opportunities.

Led by the CHM’s Dean Ma’am Sheila A. Ignacio, the event and the hands-on workshops were materialized on May 11–12, 2026, with the efforts of the College’s Extension Coordinator Ma’am Daryl Faith Bacolod, and the college faculty.

The training concluded with a showcase of the participants' outputs, marking another successful collaborative effort between the college and its community partners.
