Western Visayas Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium’s (WESVAARRDEC) Joint Executive Board and Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council (RRDCC) fourth quarter meeting was hosted by Central Philippines State University (CPSU).

Esteemed representative members of the WESVAARRDEC from various Western Visayas higher education institutions (HEIs) and state interagency institutions convened at CPSU – Main Campus and joined via Zoom videoconference last December 5, 2025.

CPSU President and RRDCC Vice Chair Dr. Aladino C. Moraca gave the “call to order” on behalf of Northern Iloilo State University President and RRDCC Chair Dr. Bobby D. Gerardo and presided in the meeting.
During the council, the consortium discussed various agenda including matters arising from their previous meeting and new business.

Dr. Moraca also delivered the welcome remarks before the physical and virtual audience where he highlighted the significance of community-needs focused researchers in delivering impactful initiatives for grassroots clientele while widening the academe’s sphere of knowledge.

The event was facilitated by in the host institution by the CPSU – Research and Development Services Office headed by Director, Dr. Angelie Rose L. Lumba in the CPSU Accreditation Center, December 5, 2025.
