The 2025 Job Fair catered to 530 applicants, with fifteen companies offering on-the-spot and standard hiring opportunities for both local and transnational employment to hopeful jobseekers on October 8, 2025.
Central Philippines State University (CPSU) โ Main Campus Studentsโ Admission and Facilitative Enhancement (SAFE) Center, in partnership with Public Employment Service Office (PESO) โ Cauayan led by Dr. Peter Famatid, and the CPSU Ilog and Candoni Campuses, facilitated the annual convergence to provide jobseekers with better access to employment opportunities.
The partner companies present were (1) Cebu General Services Inc., (2) Concentrix, (3) Gaisano Grand Kabankalan, (4) Godโs Will International Placement, Inc., (5) Kabankalan Community Antenna Television, Inc. (K-Cat / KCAT, Inc.), (6) Phil-Apex Placement Agency Inc., (7) Pisces International Placement Corporation, ( Placewell International Services Corporation, (9) Red Arrow International Employment, (10) RMA Manpower & Consultancy Services, (11) Super-Buy, Inc., (12) Teleperformance, (13) Teletech, (14) Transcom, and (15) Universal Robina Corporation.
Esteemed officials from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)โMr. Erel Evalle Lim and Mr. Ronnie Pinedaโand the Department of Migrant Workersโ (DMW) Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) also joined the initiative, showing their support for the endeavor and its applicant beneficiaries.
โTo our job seekers, we have local and overseas agencies present, and all of them are legitimate and legal. We checked beforehand whether their statuses are excellent or if they have suspensions. All of them have good standing, so chooseโฆOur advice for you is to not leave this venue until youโre hired. Donโt go until youโre employed. Donโt just focus on one company; if your target employer rejects you, move to the next. Try applying to all of them. This activity is where they are all invited to one venue. Interagency partners, Philhealth Kabankalan, Social Security System (SSS), and PAG-IBIG Fund also offered their services to the applicants, interested CPSU undergraduate students, especially fresh graduates who are preparing to enter the world of work, and alleviated them of the financial constraints from obtaining various documents.
โI saw the announcement for the 2025 Job Fair on one of CPSUโs Facebook pages, which is why I came here today. I know that there will be many opportunities in todayโs fair for those willing to step out of their comfort zones to see if these are meant to be his or her own. This is a big opportunity for students [and applicants] because they donโt need to spend much since government agencies are already here to serve,โ said Ms. Cherry Mae Sanico, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Financial Management from Carlos Hilado Memorial State University โ Binalbagan Campus.
SAFE Center Director Dr. Jirec A. Bacongco welcomed the attendees, while Guidance Counselor III Ms. Sune Quintab and Career and Job Placement Coordinator Ms. Leody Mae T. Villacarlos also delivered their messages to the participants and applicants who joined the event.
โAs a Cenphilian, it feels great that students, especially graduating students, now have so many opportunities to apply for jobs with ease and convenience. I hope that this initiative will continue so that, in time, I too can enjoy the opportunity to find employment,โ said Ms. Judy Mae Sanico, a Bachelor of Arts major in Social Science student at Central Philippines State University โ Main Campus.
