The Visayas Heritage Month was celebrated by the Central Philippines State University (CPSU) - Main Campus community last January 21 at the Administration Building Lobby.
Cenphilians gathered to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Visayan regions as they listened to the Director of CPSU Heritage and Cultural Center, Dr. Jose Gay Gallegoโs
lecture as the eventโs resource speaker.
During the College of Arts and Sciences-sponsored event, CPSU community also celebrated the achievements of its alumni who passed the Licensure Examinations for Agriculturists, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, and Professional Teachers.
Three (3) representatives from the newly licensed professionals imparted their testimonies and shared their success stories to inspire their juniors who are also preparing to take licensure examinations and to achieve licenses to practice their target professions.
In addition, the faculty and staff of the main campus colleges and programs were also given recognition for being instrumental in exceeding the national passing rates for their respective 2024 licensure examinations.
University President, Dr. Aladino C. Moraca, briefed the CPSU community about the ongoing projects and anticipated initiatives under his administration, announcing the procurement and arrival of two new Toyota Hiace units, which will be used in service of the university stakeholders for official affairs.
In line with celebrating local heritage and culture, students also showcased their singing prowess by singing songs in local Filipino languages.
